Scott Abraham

Director

Scott is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia with over 19 years’ commercial business experience.  He is a director of ABR Virtus Chartered Accountants.

Scott’s extensive experience and specialist knowledge of the Australian taxation system enables him to provide clients with leading business advice including:

Having grown up in an entrepreneurial family, Scott is passionate about business and has first-hand understanding of the complex issues Australia’s self-employed and SMEs face.

Scott is actively involved in the not-for-profit sector, dealing with taxation and compliance for various charities, public ancillary funds and other Australian tax concession entities.  He is also a non-executive director of the Dry July Foundation, one of the most successful digital fundraising initiatives in Australian history, and a member of the foundation’s finance and investment committee.

Nicholas Brinkley

Director

Nick is one of the directors of ABR Virtus Chartered Accountants.  He grew up in Canberra and graduated from the Australian National University with a Commerce/Law degree in 2002.

Nick began his career with a leading SMSF service provider before joining one of Canberra’s largest accounting firms.  With over 14 years’ tax and accounting experience Nick’s areas of expertise include:

  • Business consulting and strategic planning
  • Tax effective structuring
  • Compliance for small-to-medium enterprise
  • Self-managed superannuation funds
  • Capital gains tax
  • Goods and services tax
  • Budgets and cash-flow forecasting.

Nick advises SMEs and family businesses across a broad range of industries.  His consultative, ‘to the point’ approach enables him forge trusted professional partnerships, as has his knack for explaining complex tax issues in plain English.  Nick invests time to help his clientele realise their business and personal goals.

Francesco Rositano

Director

Frank became a Director of ABR Virtus Chartered Accountants in 2010 having spent seven years with one of Canberra’s largest accounting firms. Involved in family business from a young age, Frank has a keen understanding of how they operate and an interest in helping similar organisations grow and improve their performance.

Frank has over 15 years’ experience in the accounting industry.  He specialises in business consulting and specialist taxation advice for SMEs, high-wealth individuals, government, and private sector clients.
